Yeah I thought so too. I always smh at people that clown on Miranda for getting beat by Pavlik, as if Pavlik is some bum of the street. Also, it could be true that Miranda was a bit weight drained like he claims, he didn't seem to have much power at the end of his punches against Pavlik, and considering how much he weighed coming in against David Banks, it seems very possible that that was the case (I don't think it would have mattered much anyways, but the fight may have been more competitive).

Arthur has monster balls too. June 21 is going to be tough.

Do you guys realize AA opened as a 3/1 favorite? I think it's closer to 50/50, but don't assume Miranda is going to steamroll a guy with a better chin, better boxing ability and equal power

The way Miranda can win is to simply hustle to the final bell and outwork Arthur to a decision

Yes. Both Miranda and Abraham is showing pumpkin-sized balls for signing this fight. Miranda turned down Mikkel Kessler for the WBA title and Abraham is jeopardizing a huge fight against Pavlik later this year. This fight is an old-fashioned western gunfight where there just seems to be some unfinished business.

And yes. IMO two outcomes seems possible. AA by KO or Miranda on points. No way Abraham is gonna get KTFO.

The odds at 3-1 is not right. I might put some dough on Pantera. This is a true pick-em fight!

It was Kessler who turned down the fight with Miranda. Miranda wanted Kessler all the way. Mikkel made outrageous demands and they met every one and he still backed out

He really was on a mission that night. Pavlik was not going to be denied a title shot. Miranda was tough as nails though and was not gonna go without a fight. It truly was a great fight. That second round was amazing.

Team Kessler backed out the first time. Team Miranda the second time.

I think that was because they were ready to finalize the Abraham fight. I think they showed interest in Kessler the second time mainly as they were waiting for Abraham's camp to see if they were sincere in fighting over here. Once they realized that Abraham was a green light, they closed the door on Kessler.

I think palle pissed them off somewhat. They were willing to fight Kessler at that point still if Abraham would have backed out though. I still also believe that fight will happen some point down the road, especially if Kessler can get rid of Palle somewhat. Miranda said himself that he knows Kessler was not the problem, but his promoter.
