AJ Banal-Rafael Concepcion For Vacant WBA Title

Shouldn't Banal be fighting Nobou Nashiro, the #1 Contender? Oh well Mijares destroys Banal so it doesn't matter and that means Banal can take the mandatories while Mijares unifies.

Still, I hate the WBA. Worst belt out of all of the main 4. (And worse then the IBO)

Nashiro refuse to fight Banal and most likely will fight for an eliminator.. Roberto Vasquez allso refuses to fight Banal, so Concepcion is the only highest WBA rank who is willing to fight him... Yeah Banal just turned 19 years old by the way so I don't think he's ready to face the bigger guys..

I think the WBA can make more money out of it.. Calzaghe is the unified champ but Mundine is the regular champ and Kessler will fight for the vacant..

Well Nashiro only has like 10 fights, so if he wants more experience that is fine.

The April 2008 rankings of the WBA lists Nashiro as #1, Kohei Kono at # 2 and Banal at #3. If it is true that Nashiro has waved his right to fight for the WBA Regular Title against Banal, shouldn't Banal be made to face the second-ranked Kono instead of Rafael Concepcion who is ranked #6?

There's also the Thai, Duangpetch Sengmorakot, who is a notch lower than Banal and two rungs above Concepcion (they are separated by Concepcion's Pamanamanian compatriot, Roberto Vasquez, who is rated #5).

Except Nashiro has a win over Martin Castillo....Why the **** would you be afraid of Banal when you were a former world champion and have a win over Castillo, someone who was a lot better then Banal.

oh well it coulda been worst the wba was threatening not to recognize mijares as a world champion saying the decision was disputed (WTF!!) but looks like mijares is staying champ after all
and yes banal doesnt deserve a world title but the wba is **** they used to have koki kameda as their fake champion

also a question to all does mundine holds the wba title? i though he was gonna get stripped, if mundine holds the title then what title is kessler fighting for? they are gonna have 3 wba champions in that division?

Mijares is the recognize unified super champ and Calzaghe also.. But Mundine fought for the vacant title when Kessler unified the WBA and WBC which Mundinde fought for the vacant..

Mundine is going to 160 so Kessler will fight for the vacant.. But still Calzaghe is the unified WBC/WBO and WBA unified Super champ.. Kessler will be the regular WBA champ..
