Plus Torres is NOT the most feared man in boxing.

the point was that yes, the torres / margarito comparison is a bad one by the points that i described, but the belly of it is that cotto yes was almost out of there - and for good reason, torres is still a champ today who beat a VERY solid contender in holt his last time out.

the guy is the goods, and we found that out in the cotto fight.
AGREED,I STILL PICK TONY BY KO THOUGH.....HISTORY OF COTTO SHOWS ME THAT......EVEN THOUGH COTTO IS UNFEAFEATED TONY HAS BEEN AT THIS WEIGHT FOR A WHILE...AND THERE IS A REASON NO ONE WITH A NAME HAS FOUGHT HIM....OR SHOULD I SAY THEY HAVE AVOIDED HIM FOR A REASON AND COTTO WILL FIND OUT THE HARD WAY.

margarito is going down, and HARD

the torres / margarito comparison is no good - torres has crazy speed on his punches, unlike margarito, margarito throws volume. torres is a champion today - remember how the fight ended, with torres doubled over.

Thank you- someone with some brains..

              The comparison is a FACADE..

Your putting your money on false facts..

The Cotto that fought Torres, was killing himself to make 140 lbs..
The Cotto you see now, is at 147 and is a mother ****en monster
              at this weight.

Another thing, another thing is most Puerto Rican fighters don't talk much, ala Mexican fighters.

I just don't get it, after years, I mean years of fighting Mexicanz, they still don't understand, talking **** don't affect Puerto Rican fighters.

              Ray Lavato
              Alphonso Gomez
              Fernado Vargass
              Tony Margarito

The only fighter that I can remember neva talked **** was Julio Cesar Chavez.

no, I'm the one that is gonna ko cotto. I could ko him with one punch and he can't even land one punch on me if he tried his best. you see, its that easy to talk smack. anyone can do it, its easy. now the hard part is to back that smack up.

sorry fellas, but antonio margarito is not a KO artist. he's a volume puncher, that may ko you, if you cant take an onslaught of punches, and wear down late in fights.

having said that, when has miguel cotto "worn" down in fights? last i checked, he can brawl, as well as box if he has to. cotto has the heart of a lion, and in my opinion, is the bigger puncher of the two, judging by the fact he has just as many ko's as marg, in 10 less fights...........

i mean, anything can happen, and margarito is a good fighter, but lets not look at his wins against kermit cintron, and think thats the fight thats gonna happen with cotto.

and lets not get it twisted, this is not the biggest fight of cotto's career, unless you are judging a fight with mayweather as make or break. lose, there will b a rematch, win he still may not get mayweather. this is a much bigger fight for margarito b/c if he loses, that will be his fifth loss, he can kiss a fight with mayweather good bye forever, and he will be known as a boxer who cant win the biggest fights against the best opposition, but he can beat up on b-grade fighters like kermit cintron. this is a must win for marg, if he ever wants those $$$.

                      Wake up call!

Margarito isn't like Mosley where he throws punchs in spurts. Margarito throws a lot of punchs. And Mosley was out of his prime and Margarito is in his. And that **** Cotto did by peddaling back wards is not boxing its called running as he threw no ****ing punchs. Margarito going to hurt Cotto!
