Margarito is an American fighter. He was born in Southern California. His fight against Cotto is a Puerto Rican against an American, not a Mexican. Margarito is as Mexican as DLH...

Even though Margarito was born in Torrance, I have never looked at him as an American and I guess I never will. Tony is Mexican first, North American second. Oscar on the other is a Norht American first and Mexican second. Had Tony gone to the olympics, he would have represented Mexico. BTW, it's called North American not American, get it right!
