    Cotto-Marg.

This fight potentially can be an all out war.

Considering Calzaghe Pavlik isnt even realistic at this point, id have to go with Cotto-Margarito. Even if Calzaghe Pavlik was happening id still probably say Cotto marg

Calzaghe/Pavlik for sure, that's a superfight between two Undfeated, Undisputed Champions...The fight isn't a sure thing yet though.

            Miranda-Abraham?
            Pavlik-Abraham?
            Miranda-Kessler?

Of the 2 you polled, of which only one is signed, I think Cotto-Margerita just edges out Calzaghe-Pavlik.

for someone to choose Calzaghe/Pavlik would mean they believe that both of them are more established marketing wise then Cotto and Margarito. Are Cazlaghe and Pavlik more known than both Cotto and Margirito to the mainstream public? Remember, we're talking about anticipation WITHOUT promotion. Which fight would most likely be anticipated by the public barring all promotion?

                  Wrong question.

His poll was set to what you personally care about more, not what more people will care about.

Personally I care about Cotto-Marg more because IMO it will be a much closer fight then Pavlik-Calzaghe. Calzaghe, unless he is ridiculously weight-drained, will make Pavlik look like an amateur with the 1-2 stuff he always does.

even so, how is the general opinion of the informed going to be different than the general opinion of the uninformed? think about the impact both Pavlik and Calzaghe have made to the boxing community AND mainstream and compare it to the impact Cotto and Margo have made and make the assessment. which fight do you honestly think would be more anticipated? it doesnt matter if one fight hasnt been made yet because this is all speculative anyway. none of us can determine the future yet.
