I ain't sayin I think Cotto's gonna crack in the limelight, just that I don't think Tony is either. But this is one of those fights where the underdog isn't really an underdog, at least not to the degree that a lot of people make him out to be. The burden is on Cotto to be up for the fight and bring the heat cuz you know Tony's goin to.
Will Margarito Feel The Pressure?

Not as much as Cotto. Margarito win or lose this fight will not affect his career as much as Cotto. If Margarito wins he won't be thought of as an elite fighter and we know Mayweather or DLH won't fight him. If he loses, he was expected to lose so he'll just go on with another loss on his record.
Cotto on the other hand will lose a lot, he'll lose his chance at superstardom and his chance at Mayweather and DLH will be gone. Both fighters have a lot on pressure on them but Margarito's load is far less and I don't think this pressure will affect their performances.Comment

Isn't Jotto the one starting camp early.....I think all the pressure is on Jotto..because he knows he is about to get expose...everyone says he should win this fight..he is the hulk powerful strong and animal...hahaha....but inside he knows he is in trouble...the truth will be known...Comment

After waiting this long for a defining fight (he even resorted to wearing WE WANT MAYORGA T-shirts back in 03/04 when Ricardo was big potatoes), of course he'll feel the pressure to finally prove what he's been telling everyone for half a decade.Comment

I totally diagree. If Margarito loses this is the last gasp at the big time almost virtually. If Cotto loses this is by no means the end for him. Cotto has already reached superstardom effectively. I couldn't disagree more. Not as much as Cotto. Margarito win or lose this fight will not affect his career as much as Cotto. If Margarito wins he won't be thought of as an elite fighter and we know Mayweather or DLH won't fight him. If he loses, he was expected to lose so he'll just go on with another loss on his record.

by "first punch" do you mean every punch he's ever thrown in his entire career? if so, I agree. If I'm not mistaked Margarito seemed to be suffering from a slight case of nerves in the opening moments as the undercard feature last month. The first power punch or two he threw was in slow motion. It seemed like a nervous guy was throwing them. He's a killer - when he loosens up.Comment
