and i dont think he'll respong because he knows as soon as he makes a poll about who people want gone, me or him, he knows that he'll loose, and he'll have to pack up his sorry little racist ass out of this site.Comment

oh and it's also interesting how NOW you call them clubfighters. those are not the words you used to describe his opponents before.I'm not sure about Boytsov yet. He looks great against clubfighters, but I think he's a bit small to ever really dominate the heavyweight division. If he was about 6'4" I would be more confident about him. He is one of the younger heavyweights at 22, and some other "prospects" like age 35 Donnell Holmes are still fighting similar opposition.
I like Boytsov's aggressive, crowd-pleasing style, which is a lot more fun to watch than defensive-minded boxers like Byrd. And Boytsov keeps in great shape, unlike about half of the top 50 heavyweights. And at age 22, he still has time to improve, unlike the age 27 heavyweight "prospects" like Malik Scott and Egon Roth.
To the thread starter: add up the wins and losses of almost every other heavyweight prospect after 20 fights, and it won't be much different. Even Tyson fought a lot of bums as his first 20 opponents, knocking them out in the early rounds, but then struggled at first when he moved up in class, and began to win a few decisions instead of early KOs.
There's only a few really good young heavyweights, and most of them are from Eastern Europe. It is not racist to say that, any more than saying in 1970 most of the best young heavyweights were black and American. I think Arreola may have a great future, but I'll know more about him after he fights the slick Chazz Witherspoon on June 21. I think Travis Walker may have potential. And perhaps Eddie Chambers, but like Boytsov he's perhaps a bit too small.
The only heavyweights so far who have fought decent opposition in their first 20 fights are Lewis, Povetkin and Solis, but they were all a few years older than Boytsov when they turned pro (he was 19), after longer and brilliant amateur careers.
far far from clubfighters. how quickly we change our mind huhComment

The poll will only indicate there are a lot of black supremacists here!
No one needs to leave unless the mods decides, regardless of whether they are of East European heritage like Wlad Owns. He is free to root for whatever fighters he wants to.
Give up your bitterness and jealousy of East European boxers, and leave us in peace.Comment

He's fought mostly clubfighters, with one fight against an top prospect (Pala) and and one against a durable journeyman (Hawkins). Mike Tyson also faced mostly clubfighters in his first 20 fights.
Where have I said otherwise?Last edited by The Hammer; 05-18-2008, 01:01 AM.Comment

Besides those racists here who despise white fighters, there's a lot of good people here like kayjay, Boxing2005, MikeTyson77, BatTheMan, and others.
Mind you, there are a couple of other forums with relatively few haters like you, and I'm considering spending more time elsewhere. I enjoy the contact with the real boxing fans here, but it's very frustrating and aggravating trying to communicate with the haters. I'll always maintain a membership here, but I may post less frequently in the future.Comment

and you calling me a hater, well that pretty much explains which angle you touching. keep playing the race card buddy
but it's a very ironic how majority (notice that i hilited the word, so you can keep your friendly company seperate) would label you a racist and a hater. that **** is not unusual.Comment
