Zab Should Be At 140 Dominating

I havent seen such a name guy handled so poorly in recent years. All of Zab's high profile matchups lately have not been good matchups for him, he seems to not have a smart team, they are just cashing out, or are just not realistic when it comes to who he can and cannot beat. To me Mosely would have been a bad fight and a loss for Zab, just like the proposed Clottey matchup. He needs a smarter team and if he would drop down to 140 which I beleive he can he would make more money in the long run and also have a legitimate shot at grabbing several titles.

Zab is too old to make 140..

for sure. a lot of it is situational though. after his loss to baldomir his back was kinda up against a wall. he HAD fight everyone because the ball was out of his court. i like zabdiel a lot, but it's hard to have good match making (meaning the opponent is credible but beatable, and the fight makes him good money) when you haven't won a big fight since early '05.

baldomir was supposed to be a good match up for zab, and look how it turned out. like i said before though, i have to respect someone who consistently faces the best fighters out there regardless of the reasons behind it.

I really dont put too much into the Baldy fight, simply because he got hit with a punch that hurt him and wasnt able to recover, that can happen to anyone, when he wasnt hurt he basically dominated the fight and some still think Zab did enough to deserve the win.

I said he would PROBABLY knock Hatton out, it isnt hard to hit Hatton and I know Zab would land and it only takes one punch, so thats why I said probably. Ricky was allowed to hold and hit in his past fights, when he wasnt allowed to do that you saw what happened, the Tsyzu fight was a disgrace, the ref was a disgrace. To say a fighter has no chance at beating someone tells me either you havent been watching boxing a long time or just dont know what youre talking about. Skills usually win but luck sometimes do too.

I said imo judah has no chance of beating Hatton.
Now for Judah to make 140 he would have to severly drain himself. At 140 Hatton has walked through everything. Judah would not be able to keep him off. At 140 hatton also has a fair amount of pop in his punches.
What happened last time Zab got in the ring at 140 with someone who could take a dig and give a dig? Tszu knocked him out and that was tszu's first fight in god knows how long
Your point about ricky getting hit is right but Judah would not be hitting him often or hard enough imo to knock him out

I agree with that. Plus even if he could make 140, Judah would have to have his heart behind it. He's used to playing with the big boys at welterweight and he may not make the adjustment psychologically.

Zab will clean up in what ever division he is in. He has the best combination of speed and power pound for pound in boxing, period.
