tarver is not more "skilled" than roy... just no ifs ands or buts... the other problem is, u never know what tarver ur gonna get, every other fight he shows up like hes lost

Skill for Skill tarver would have won this fight, thing is, he doesnt have the legs and would probably get hustled out if by calzaghe throwing loads of punches. But tarver gets a really raw deal on this forum, skill and ablity wise he is arguably the best at 175.

It might be. I think its very hard to assess how good any of these fighters are these days. Jones and Tarver are old, Glen Johnson old and only OK, Dawson looking dodgy and unproven. I can't tell which is the best or who would have the best chance, it could easily be Tarver, or anyone else.
