I think the opposite i think he may try to impress and press things possibly being to aggressive.

If i was his team i wold not have put him in with Darling in this fight I think it is a big gamble. They think the world of him though and have him on the fast track. It is for sure an interesting fight, I am pumped for it.

I hope he does lose, but he probably won't.

I won't be surprised if gamboa wins by a KO or a wide UD. A darling win will be very very surprising.

I always bet on dogs i hate betting favorite with parlay, unless i feel really strongly about a kayo. I would not put 5gs on Darling though. 300 to win 1800though is just right for me. Beside its all for entertainment it makes everything better. Good luck to you also may the better man win.

Laughing...You're right about that. I wouldn't say I'm not nervous. Gamboa hasn't really been tested yet, but Jimenez hasn't beaten anyone worthy of even mentioning and has had a over a years lay off.

Jimenez is a pretty good fighter. And his money punch is the punch that Gamboa is most susceptible to..the left hook...

I still like Gamboa in the fight, but a Jimenez win wouldn't shock me one bit. What would shock me is if Gamboa blitzes through him like he's done everyone else.

That is true, i have been looking for his fights since he KO Anchondo and was always disapointed to never see him. When i bet large sums of money and lose i am liable to break **** depending on how poorly the guy i bet on preforms. So i try to limit to betting on live dogs if i lose atleast i can say well they were the underdog.

Before you lay your money down:

                      from http://www.*********.com/article_detail.php?AT=643 :

This fight is going to be on HBO and televised around the world. Do you feel pressure, like you have to KO Jimenez to look good for the fans and the network?

Not at all. I feel no pressure. To me this is just another fight like any other. How much more pressure can there be compared to the pressure of fighting for the gold medal in the Olympics? And even in the Olympics I didn’t feel the pressure. So I have that part under control. What makes me happy is that I’m going to be on HBO. I don’t have that many fights under my belt, yet I got the chance. It’ something that doesn’t happen very often so I’m pleased. But pressure, I don’t see why? This is where I’m supposed to be. This is where God put me, so I’m 100% ready.

What do you know about your opponent, Darling Jimenez? Is he fast? Is he strong?

We’ve watched some footage and have analyzed him. He’s a fighter that likes to work with the left hook. He works well with the left. But he’s not a fighter with tremendous hand speed or really anything out of the ordinary. Basically he’s just another fighter.

                      So he’s average?

Absolutely. He doesn’t bring anything to the table that I can’t overcome with my abilities. The fights that are hard are when you fight an opponent with unbelievable speed or extraordinary power. Then it becomes harder to overcome. Jimenez is a good fighter, but there is nothing extraordinary about him. So we should have no problems.

When I’ve seen you in the corner you look incredibly confident. What’s going through your mind before a fight?

I always 100% mentally prepared for a fight. When I’m in the ring I’m thinking about the guy’s height, and what adjustments will I need to make in there. As the fight progresses are start analyzing his weakness and his strong points. What are his best punches, what mistakes he’s making that I can capitalize on, and then I move in for the kill
