Gamboa had 425 amateur fights, how many did he won? He will probably have around 20-50 pro fights.

How many amateur fights did sugar ray robinson fought without the legends?

Back in the day they fought 3 bums a month and one champion, sometimes they fought a champion twice or thrice a month, that I have to give them, but if you remove the bums from Robinsons record after his first world title his record doesn't look THAT impressive anymore. Add the sparring fights from todays fighters to their records and they have the same impressive ones.
