After you get beat you can't fight one or two lower rated fighters and hope for another big pay day with the top p4p, I'd like to see Hatton REALLY go for it and get in there with Mosley or Cotto (who I think he'd lose to but at least he's testing himself). Stop trying to bring Mayweather to England where he can be robbed, I feel that is the only way Hatton could EVER beat Mayweather is if Floyd is robbed. Hatton's been in there with the best, now he should be in there with the rest. FIGHT your way to a re-match, not talk your way into one Ricky.

If that is so, then Hatton was getting "robbed" in the Vegas fight with Mayweather before the TKO. I had the fight pretty even at the time of stoppage. Boxing is judged by rounds and I thought Ricky had 4-5 of the 9 rounds that had passed. The Judges gave him like 1-2 rounds. So, if thats the case, then let Mayweather beat Hatton with the roles reversed.

Floyd probably wont go to England due to fear of getting robbed. I know people say Hatton got robbed so, it should be Floyds turn. I just don't see it happing. Plus, I don't think he would gain any more "fan" base for the fight. It's a money deal plain and simple. ## It will attract at least 100,000 fans, when was the last time that happened

He would make more money fighting in england against hatton than he would fighting any other fighter on the planet in the usa apart from Oscar
The Hatton v's mayweather fight was floyds 2nd biggest ever payday and that was because of Hatton. For floyd to make money on a rematch in the uk it does not need americas support or ppv no's as it would get 100000 paying at least £50 ($100) and would do over a million ppvs over here if it was on prime time
No other fighter apart from oscar would generate the money mayweather wants, not cotto, not Marg, not mosley

Yeah but Hopkins is 43, can't really blame a 43 year old for holding, he needs the time to recover (and he sure does some dirty stuff along the way, who doesn't) but Ricky is a whole different story. Although he has some skills he incorporates the clinching a little too often for it to go unnoticed.

Except Ricky was really making Mayweather look uncomfortable in that fight, and he was at an extreme disadvantage because of the way the reffing was going. Let's face it, Cortez was breaking them up at times before they even touched eachother, he deducted a point for a phantom punch when Mayweather was the one that kept turning the back of his head into Hatton's punches.

I don't think I like a single English fighter other than Ricky, and I respect Mayweather's skill, but that was not a fair fight.
