Hatton Has a Plan To Land Floyd Mayweather

Ricky Hatton has a plan in mind to land a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Next Saturday, Hatton returns to the ring for the first time since suffering the only loss of his career, a tenth-round TKO to Mayweather last December in Las Vegas. First, Hatton wants to rebuild himself by beating Juan Lazcano (next Saturday) and IBF 140-pound champion Paulie Malignaggi in the fall at New York's Madison Square Garden. [details]

I will lose all respect for Floyd if he has a rematch with ricky any time soon. Maybe in like 5 years it'd be cool, when they are both past their primes and do it for ****s & giggles on free TV, then yeah. But now, no ****in way.

hatton is a true warrior but if he wants to earn the rematch he should fight a good welterweight fighter and beat them. no point in fighting 140 opponents who arent even that good if he wants the rematch again as a welterweight.
