I have to agree. If these fantasy match ups were possible, I think we'd be surprised at who would have beaten SRR.

    Flamesuit on!

ridiculous as it might sound to some i actually think Roy Jones could be in the top 3 ATG List based purely on talent not achivement

Same could be said for Roy Jones.

I don't get the comparisons, Robinson was at his best as a welterweight while Roy Jones was not at his best as a middleweight.

Hard to say who I would favour over who at middleweight where both fighters were not at their best and where Roy Jones' best opponent was an inexperienced Bernard Hopkins.

I don't see anyone who I would favour to beat Roy Jones at SMW from the people who competed in that division (Toney, Calzaghe, Benn, Eubank, Collins...) but I do think an inexperienced Roy Jones could lose to the great middleweights (Hagler, Monzon, Robinson...).
Jones could also lose to the great light heavyweights (Spinks, Foster, Moore, Charles..).

Notice I said could... I do not believe that fights can be predicted accurately, look at what happened in Jones vs Griffin I.
You can only give your opinion on them.

Montell Griffin gave Roy Jones a tough fight in their first one, check it out: http://youtube.com/watch?v=ft05fq3kcXE

              I'd have to agree there.

              Roy is an enigma.

No one really knows how good he was because he never really had any challenges.

Bollocks, for christ sake Roy Jones is far to big for Ray Robinson anyways......it's silly comparing the two. Im sorry but Roy got knocked out by a awful tarver and a average Johnson, I don't care if he wasn't in his so called prime but losing to those fighters seriously dents his career.

China chin? He didn't lose a fight for 15 years, and lost when he went up to Heavyweight, and dropped back weight drained WHILE out of his prime. That **** was impressive, do you think any other fighter can go up to HW like that or dominate like he did all those years? Hopkins, Toney, McCallum, Hill...enough said, 4 HOF Fighters, 4 Weight champion, The fighter of millenium...none other than one man.

Its funny how people love to hate on the best, I'm sure you will give Ali **** for losing to Berbick and Holmes too? or say Ray Leonard is crap because he lost to Norris? Great fighters always lose when they are out of their prime years...I would love to see you lose 20 pound of muscle some day...
I'm ignorant for saying that the greatest LHW ever, Ezzard Charles would have given Roy more than he could handle? As ignorant as you claiming that Roy (a natural LHW) would have beaten SRR (a natural WW) and then claiming that that somehow means he was a better fighter? I am a huge RJJ fan and have defended him on here hundreds of times, but lets get real, he would have had his hands full with at least these fighters at LHW: Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Michael Spinks, Bob Foster, Michael Moorer and Gene Tunney. And I would bet money that he would lose to at least one of these if he faced them all.
