I dont know what some of you guys are talking about.

Paulie isnt a hard puncher (by any means) but he does have a remarkably good chin in comparison.

I dont see hatton ko'ing him...only way i could see paulie getting stopped is if he gets caught with a good hook to the body...if you've ever been hit with a dead on body punch you drop; lose your air; and literally CANT get back up...

        it happens...

but i dont think thats going to be the outcome; paulie will decision him.

However i think its crazy as well that paulie talks about knocking him out BUT what he said about it being easier to KO hatton (or even just knock him down) than it would be to do to ndou is 100% true.

        do you know why?

hatton lunges in a lot...if paulie plants his feet and swings as hatton lunges forward the power from the punch will crash with the body weight of hatton lunging forward therefore making the hit much harder than it would have been if hatton wasnt moving forward.

note: paulie earned a flash knockdown against ndou this way...ndou lunged in as paulie planted his feet and swing with a good punch...it happens.

i dont think it will happen to hatton but i wanted to clear up as to why paulie would say that and that in theory it makes sense but hatton actually has a chin...and paulie doesnt have ANY power really...

        anyway...paulie to win a 12 round decision.

As much as I dislike Paulie, I hate the idea of Hatton Mayweather rematch getting in the way of Cotto Mayweather even more. Although is highly unlikely he'll win, I'll be rooting for him to pull it off.

you guys gotta explain. why is hatton gonna beat paulie? why? hatton is a bum got ko'd by gayweather got outclassed his ass kicked and almost ko'd by collazo. Paulie took a beating from cotto and still finished 115-113. He can box and move which is what it takes to easily beat hatton. hatton will lose

Cotto is more of a boxer type. Don't get me wrong, if you try and trade with him, like Quintana did, then he can KO you, but if his opponent is playing it safe and Cotto is winning rounds, then he won't be reckless, as seen against Urkal.

Hatton is likely to be more aggressive than Cotto was. Part of this is that it's his natural style, and part of it is that if Hatton tries to stick behind the jab and pick his shots like Cotto did, there's a good chance that he'll get get outboxed and lose a decision.

Cotto is a better boxer and probably hits harder, but he never needed to go for the KO, whereas Hatton may have to.

Not saying that Hatton will win by a KO, by those are the reasons that he may do so.

Good points. Hatton is pretty much the definition of a pressure fighter. Could he wear down Paulie, and take him out later? Possible. But I just don't see it. Not when Paulie went those 12 brutal rounds with Cotto.
Glad I could actually correspond with somebody on here, and it not get ugly, for once....

How can he ruin his game, by not fighting him at Madison Square Garden?

Don't know who made this error, I'm guessing it was the news.

Also, come on Hatton can box a bit if he wants, I'm not saying he will againts pauli, but he's even hired a new pads worker for the straight fast shots. SHow's he's working on another dimension.

I think he's always had this, but has never lost with it before therefore no need to change it.

Still this would be a savage fight, couldn't tell you the outcome.
