What was the first fight you ever watched?

Chavez/Randall.. was the first fight I ever watched live. I'm relatively young, so there's that. And yes, it did the trick. Just the emotion it evoked from my father was enough to get me hooked.

Holmes v Spinks I but don't remember much about it except for Holmes not being impressed at the result.

I saw the 1986 FA Cup final followed by the World Cup which got me into footy, boxing took a back seat from there.

the rumble in the jungle. but of course it was on tape not live. wasnt around in the 70s lol

but then i watched espn replays of ali and tyson, and quickly fell in love with the sport

what about you hurricane, come clean?

The first fight I watched ever was Ali Frazier. Saw it on some old Ali video.

First fight I watched live was sweet pea vs Mcgirt II at my cousin's house.

Ali-Frazier 3 was the first fight I ever watched, not live but on a VHS tape. Got me hooked. First live fight was some ABC fight, I can't remember who was fighting.

Edit: I meant an ABC Wide World of Sports fight.

My first fight was when I was 9 years old. I was staying with my nan and grandad as my mum was ill in hospital and my dad was working away.

It just happened to be on telly and I sat and watched it and loved boxing ever since.

The fight was Colin Jones vs Mark Harris for the vacant commonwealth welterweight title.

I just did, not a big fight either but it was live on tv and it meant I could stay up later.

i liked ali-frazier 1 better. one of my favourite fights

always a good excuse not to be tucked in too early. i hated that as a kid, lol that was random

anyway always good see a fight for free. even if it's a four round event
