    Miguel Cotto's Contract Causing Frustration

Frustration is building over Miguel Cotto's contract to fight Antonio Margarito on July 26 in Las Vegas. A press tour is scheduled to begin next week in Mexico, but Cotto has yet to sign the contract and promoter Bob Arum and Team Margarito are frustrated with not having a fully signed agreement. Men is Arum. I know for a fact that the guranteed money is set. But the PPv revenue is the problem Cotto wants a piece of it and Arum is not willing to give him any. I dont blame Cotto for this because in other fights he took less money just to make the fight happening. And now that he wants his money Arum dont want to pay. I think now that >Floyds decision in leaving Arum was the right one. I now Miguel Will sign the contract based on pride, but if he have to take less money again, will go with GBP after this fight.

Ok, at this point you have to wonder if Team Cotto isn't trying to price out.

I think it's safe to say Team Margarito isn't hung up on that.

Margarito is a WARRIOR he's not really concerned about the money.
Marg just wants a chance to prove himself. I give Cotto credit for accepting the fight when clearly there's more risk than reward for him. But seriously just sign the goddamn contract and Arum give Cotto all the money if you have to fat ****. If this fight doesnt take place It will be a serious blow to boxing.

Isn't cotto the favorite in this fight? I personally think he is the better boxer by-far but Margarito is great pressure fighter and it would be a test to see how cotto can handle as much pressure that Margarito will put on him.

Just a question What would happen if Cotto doesnt sign the contract?

Will the Cotto ballgrabbers say it was Arums's fault for not paying him enough?

Is it always about the goddamn MONEY?!!!
