Hattons getting far too much grief on here, christ it was his dad that made these comments, not him. In any case, I think it's pretty cynical to think he was lying when he said they were considering Witter. Seriously, come on.

I think Hatton would beat Witter and Bradley, and I think he knows it too. It'd odd people are jumping to Witters defence losing to an unknown, yet Calzaghe beats a legend and many still underate him, and Hatton didn't do that bad against P4P no. 1, and gets grief.

Seriously, get into perspective man. Witter lost to an unknown whom Floyd and Hatton would've beaten. So all this, Witter deserves a shot at Hatton **** is getting a little old. He's mouthed off left right and centre and put Ricky off fighting him, now he's lost to a lesser fighter than Ricky. I really don't see why anyone would feel sorry for him or still try to justify he's deserves a shot at Ricky after this.

There's clear views of ppl saying Witter deserved and deserves a shot at Hatton all the time, and on this thread alone. The sentiments often go further, criticising Hatton even now as ducking, when Witter just lost to a nobody, and Hatton lost to p4p no. 1. And there was lots of, Witter had a bad day at the office type comments, and I feel sorry for him as he's 34 and unlikely to get good shots now, after the fight.

I haven't always lived here, but it's true that I've never been any where near Newcastle either. The closest I got was Blackpool.

I used to have teams pushed on me. First Crystal Palace then Aston Villa, in the end I picked my own team and that was Newcastle.

well yeah it's pretty obvious, ricky really turns me off with his reason to not fight Junior, it's not like im dying to see this fight, frankly i dont give a **** if it comes off or not, but trashtalking is not a good enough reason to not fight the guy. considering it was the reason ricky landed the fight with floyd. he should give something back too
