Timothy Bradley came over to the UK to win the title, and he succeeded. Yes he is/was an unranked fighter but he was still unbeaten (agreed he hadn't fought anyone) but only time will tell what Bradley will become or what he already is....

I agree Witter blew his only solid chance of this fight ever taking place, he ******ly overlooked bradley and quickly found out that you should never overlook any fighter. Does this warrant "Witter was Exposed" ? - imo no as we are yet to see what becomes of Bradley.

But this still doesn't mean Hatton Witter wouldn't be a good fight, true boxing fans know styles make fights and I still believe this would be a good fight for the british fight fans....

The only way this fight will take place in my eyes is if Hatton loses to lazcano and malignaggi wins... Then I could see the possibility of the fight taking place.

Ray Hatton shouldn't have went to the press with this - silence can sometimes say more. It shows that the whole Witter thing had got to the Hatton camp as Ray Hatton felt obliged at the earliest opportunity to still defend Hatton's reasons for not fighting Witter

Bradley was nothing special and Witter should have had to much for him. Instead he tried to take the easy way out by picking his pockets and lost out.

It didn`t look like he took this guy seriously at all. Witters style demands that he is sharp, he was anything but sharp on the night against an average opponent with a predictable style./

to be honest he is right, beating bradley would of got him closer to a hatton fight and after seeing the bradley fight hatton would beat witter.

The Hattons are hypocritical bitches whom I have no time for. They may have fooled his football fans but 2008 has been a PR disaster for them. It would be fantastic if Lazcano knocked him out.

Witter has NEVER beaten a legit fighter, while Hatton has beaten numerous Champions in 2 divisions.

Ricky Hatton is a P4P boxing legend and Witter is a nobody who'll finish his career as it started, in obscurity!

i am from yorkshire and witter is a yorkshire man so it would be fair to say that i should be biased to witter. but the simple and annoying truth is the guy has gained popularity by calling out hatton. he would not beat hatton ever and he has blown his chance. he claims the fight would be the biggest british bout since eubank-benn but it wouldnt. he wouldnt even come close to winning.
