You did not mention what weight so I am assuming you are talking about 168, right? I would like to see Pavlik stay at 160, he seems so much stronger as a middle weight and or Taylor was killing himself to make 160 and became stronger at 164 catchweight and the 4 pounds made a huge difference for Taylor. I don't want to see RJJR fight no more but I guess the two old men would be a semi decent fight but it would not draw my attention all that much.

RJJ would probably bring more money to the table, but Joe just wants to secure his legacy these days, has done for a while.
TBH, Joe tears them both up, he just makes easier work of Pavlik. I only voted Pavlik for the simple fact that all the people who claim Pavlik will KO Joe will have to eat some delicious humble pie when they see their boy lose his precious 0, maybe even by KO.
Another thing about this situation, Pavlik comes to fight, but what will RJJ do? Joe will be Roy's toughest opponent so far, and Roy knows this, and he also knows he is now too old to live with Joe, if we're going to be realistic.
I just find it funny that the only fight most people think Joe will lose is the easiest fight out there for him right now, plus the one that will do more for his legacy.
Calzaghe either stops Pavlik or wins a shut out decision, it's that much of a mismatch.

Pavlik has more real meaning, but there would be an appeal to see RJJ fans silenced. I voted for Pvlik though.Comment
