I appreciate him for having the guts to travel across the pond and allow the world to see first hand how great Joe Calzaghe really is.
It was a clinic of all clinics.
The sad thing is, he tainted the name Left Hook.

Jeff Lacy is a good man who has been treated unfairly by the media and some fans after the loss to Joe.

He was a very good fighter, but I don't think he'll ever be the same as before the fight with Joe. He will not likely ever psychologically recover from that beating and the media abuse that followed.

Jeff Lacy is still one of my fave fighters, class act.

Most know I'm probably the biggest Lacy fan on this site and always have been....that being said, It's nioce to see a post like this one. Big ups to Jeff....he's had some tough breaks with the injury and was thrown to the wolves too early but he is a warrior and a class act....nobody can take that from him......ever.

If Jeff Lacy never crossed the pound Calzaghe could have been a fogotten fighter. Jeff showed balls throughout the fight to hang in there and he deserves credit. I'm sick and tired of people ****ting on Jeff now.

fair point mate. the only thing i can say is the hype lacy brought with him to the uk (may i point he has balls for coming over) that he was going to do this and that to joe and he didnt live up to it. Its not like he created the hype. He lost to a class fighter no shame in it. Doesnt mean he has lost his talents does it
