I think Walter Dario Matthysse came close to laying down the blueprint on how to beat Williams. Walter had Paul Williams in trouble several times in that fight. Neither fighter has the greatest chin but both have what it takes to ride out the storm and considering neither has been knocked out yet, their chins are good enough to continue fighting professionally on a top tier level.
Maybe I missed the memo, but when did Margarito make the plunge from arm punching volume puncher to power puncher? Margarito has decent pop, but his effectiveness comes from wearing opponents down over time, though he is capable of overwhelming lesser opponents with *******s of punches at any given moment. When have you seen Margarito score a single shot knockdown? Cintron, Johnson, Williams, Clottey, Gomez, Lujan, Santos, Kyvelos, Lewis, Diaz, Martinez or Randall? Nope.
