I REALLY met Miguel Cotto today...

You could kind of tell my his demeanor. I dont mean to bring up Floyd, but Floyd was the coolest dude ever. I got to chill at his hotel with his staff. We were gonna go to his room and chill but we got there late and he was already packing to leave to Dallas during the ODLH vs Floyd fight. The coolest dude EVER. Oscar was an ass, but at least he took a pic with me.

NO ONE. In Vegas likes the guy.. He has a bad rep for the most part in the clubs cus he so arrogant.
I meet him on two occasions and he was a *****.. part of the reason I'm not a fan.
Oscar signed my gloves and everyone elses stuff in the MGM lobby for their press conference.. Mayweather just walked by everybody and didn't even bother to look or smile.


His dad is kinda funny though.. lawd knows what he is saying but he always stops to take pics.

Tito.. as much as I dislike him, always takes the time to smile and take a pic.. never turns anybody down and is happy to talk to his fans.

He didn't turn him down though, he got a picture with him... Not a smiling one of course, but he is lucky to even get that. He could have just totally blown his fan off completely and said **** you I don't feel like it.

Well, not every celebrity is the same. I myself would get pissed off if everytime I stepped out in public, I had to stop every five minutes to take a picture with every e******o that recognizes you. Cotto is not married, he is separated. Maybe it wasnt his wife, maybe it was some girl that liked the attention. Maybe he was in a bad mood, maybe he just wanted to leave with the girl to a motel and people kept stopping him for pictures. Have you ever wanted to leave a party, and your girl spent half an hour to say goodbye to everybody? I just dont like to call anyone an ******* if I havent even met him.

I can see you are a Tito fan. Let me tell you a really sad story. A friend of mine went to a panaderia an Tito was there. He told me it was really sad, cause it looked like Tito was just sitting there all alone just waiting for people to come up to him. He was craving for attention; boxing is the only thing he had, and without it he is nothing. Thats probably why he came back from retirement. Thats sad.

I agree that he probably gets constantly mobbed, but that's not a valid justification of not being accommodating. I've met MUCH bigger celebrities than him and they were cool as ****. Cotto has nothing on Grant Hill or Nicole Kidman, or even Tito, and the difference in character is amazing.

He did not appear to be in a particularly bad mood. He was expressionless as always, so he could've been ecstatic or stressed and I wouldn't have known.

I also agree that Tito is that nice cuz he loves attention, but he's still a humble guy. He may be arrogant in that he believes he's a better fighter than he actually is, but as far as treating people, Tito is unparalleled. He's a simple guy with a friendly attitude and Cotto could learn a thing or two from him, especially being such a huge public figure here.

thats exaclty how I feel. He was the **** to meet in person. The only thing was he wouldnt sign anything that Oscar signed. But I got him to sign y Fight Presser Flag . So i got Oscar' sig on one side and Floyd on the other side.

I personally think the topic creator made up this story because he has an obsession with tito and prefers tito over cotto. Thats just my opinion, hell I could be wrong, but this story sounds too far-fetched to me.

I didn't get a good look at the girl but she strongly resembled Cotto's wife. You may be right, but still, like I said, he's a public figure and being a little nice takes no effort at all.

I wouldn't call myself a Tito FAN, as a boxer I don't like his style that much, I think he's way overrated here and I hate how he thinks he's better than he is, but as a person greeting fans, he is a great guy.
