Yuriorkis Gamboa Already Targets Manny Pacquiao

When unbeaten super featherweight phenomenon Yuriorkis Gamboa (9-0-0, 8 kos) steps into the ring against Darling Jimenez (23-2-2, 14 kos) this Saturday (May 17th) in Primm, Nevada, it will not only be the HBO debut of the Cuban Olympic gold medallist, but also his chance to win the WBC international championship. The title had been laid down by none other than Phillipinian superstar Manny Pacquiao before “Pacman” stripped the world title from Juan Manuel Marquez on March 15th. [details]

I respect his willingness to fight the best, it's a little early for him to fight Pacquiao though.

tell him to wait in line. paquiao might be retired by the time it's his turn.

Gamboa is young and hungry i like him.
In 2 years time He would stop Pacquiao.

Now Pacquiao's power surprises and puts Gamboa away.
Gamboa hasn't been in the ring with anyone on his level.
He's not "protected" per say, its just a huge jump in Class.

            Fight never happens.

Nice to see Gamboa wanting the big fights, but it will probably be a while before he gets a chance at Pac, plus Pac may be retired by then.

I'd like to see that happen. But honestly I'd like to see Joan Guzman get a shot at Pacquiao first.

Speaking of Guzman, so is the Arthur fight OFF or what? Haven't heard a single word in a couple weeks.
