I know compa, it's funny how people just don't see things in the right perspective. Tony lost that fight, plain and simple, I am not making any arguments about it, he was out-hustled and outscored by a busier fighter, he took too long to establish his power and when he did it was too late. Williams looked like the busier fighter, whether any of his punches landed cleanly, the tape is there to show the truth, most of his punches were blocked and he threw more jabs than anything else.

Margarito landed the bigger shots the last half of the fight, CLEARLY hurting Williams, his corner kept raising his arms up to catch some air to his battered ass lungs, the evidence is there, just watch it. Margarito could of easily knocked him out and win the fight, but it was his own fault for losing that night.

Not at all. He was holding a little more. But look at the damn workrate from Williams in that fight. That's what I attribute it to. Also- he was hit with some good shots- but you still haven't exactly indicated when he was wobbled, or hurt. Is holding and backing up always an indicator of somebody being hurt? Or is it Williams stepping off of the gas pedal because he's a little fatigued? By your standards, Joe Calzaghe had Bernard Hopkins hurt the whole fight- he was holding and backing up too, right?

Also- he was hit with some good shots- but you still haven't exactly indicated when he was wobbled, or hurt. Is holding and backing up always an indicator of somebody being hurt? I think Margarito underestimated Williams, quite frankly. Williams put pressure on Margarito using his height and reach advantage and was able to control the pace of the fight, something Tony is used to doing to his opponents.
Remember that Tony has always been as slow starter, he measures up his opponents and starts to put more pressure as the fight goes on. This loss just made him start out with more urgency and a faster approach than in the past and I think has make him a better fighter despite of just two fights after his loss to Williams.

Now the reason why Tony could not follow through after landing his bombs were the obvious reasons I stated before in Williams holding onto Tony, tying him up like a ****ing squid. Just re-watch the fight bro, if you can dig it out and see what I mean. It must be hard to break through a hold from a dude who is what? 6'1"?? like I said, I like you and I think you are a good poster but to say that Williams was not hurt is pretty delusional.
