If this is true it sounds like the fight will need to be postponed. It could turn out that May is one of those jinxed months.

In my opinion the thing that makes people like Hatton is his greatest weakness. His pride. He is so prideful he won't make any decisions that are smart if they contrast with his concept of the warrior code. Popular but not smart. Same reason he slugs and isn't interested in boxing even a little bit.

He boxed pretty good against the bigger, stronger Urango for the first 5 rounds or so. Seems awful close to the fight to be halting camp.

if hatton is a true warrior he will not cancel the fight due to some small illness.

I agree that it is close. I think it is a bad sign.

Also it isn't as if his camp and advisers can't get him to try boxing he just doesn't stick to it. I really don't think he will ever box as good as he punches but if he consistently mixed it up a bit he would be a true threat at Welter not just Junior Welter.

I wonder if it will be delayed until June? That wouldn't really be so bad.
