The thing is, the anthem is not getting boo'd because it represents America, its getting boo'd because it represents the fighter.

Go to an English football match and listen to opposite teams, boo, chant, and scream insults at each other.

I wouldnt say the fans are "doucebags". I would just say the fans are showing passion by cheering on their own fighter and booing the other one.
