I have a better idea: Ban douchebags from singing the US national anthem. The phrase "Oh say can you see" has five syllables, not thirty five.

As English, we are used to trading chants over the terraces, but the US anthem is generally held with more affection by its people than God Save the Queen is by the Brits, especially the celts, who have their own (much better imo) anthems; we should respect that.

So my plan...If you are the away fighter and your anthem gets booed, not just an odd cat call, but properly booed, the referee should be given the discretion to deduct a point.

Yes I know there are flaws in this, like what level of booing is needed, but maybe just the threat of sanctions may be enough??
Oh yes .. The boxer should be punished for someone else's actions.. That's Just Brilliant..

Are you ****ing ******ed??? What Pile of Leftist communist tripe..

Nationalism has no place in boxing unless its in an olympic competition.

But to be fair, when your national anthems are sang by Tyrese and Ray J, they kinda deserve booing. That applies to Tom Jones singing the British national anthem too.

This is a good point. It's not the Olympics, the men don't represent anything other than themselves

national anthems have no place anyway in a Boxing ring that isnt representing the country, like in the Olympics.

also taking a point off for something that has nothing to do with the fighter is just ridiculous.
