Okay, now you are saying the Castillo was not far off the level of Roberto Duran at 135? Wow. Just WOW.

While Floyd WAS injured in the first fight, you can't pretend like Castillo didn't have a lot of good moments in the second fight as well. It wasn't all the shoulder that caused Castillo to have the success that he did.

While I think Castillo is a very good lightweight (wildly underrated), Duran is considered the best, by far. He had one loss at that weight, which was avenged twice against a guy that wouldn't have lost in other lightweight eras.

Mayweather would have to fight a much better performance against Duran than he did against Castillo II to have a chance, for sure.

Really, then why did you refer to 10 years of Duran's career as the beginning? That is quite ignorant.

            Duran was a 135lb from 1968 -1978

Duran fought excellent competition at 135lbs with the highlights being DeJesus and Buchanan. 135lbs was his best weight, the thing is that the bigger names and better fighters were at the higher weights.

Just because he had great success higher up doesn't mean it was his better weight just that it was better competition to showcase his skills against.

Not on the level of Buchanan or De Jesus. Nice try though.

Just because you don't know who they are doesn't make them mugs.

Non of which means Floyd auto loses to Duran , and again I never said Castillo was Duran , I said he was of the level Duran fought at while 135 , to be precise prime Castillo could possibly beat every 135 Duran opponent ,, my point is at 135 Duran never fought a guy of Floyds level , I,m not against the view Duran wins but anybody that thinks Floyd is easybeat at 135 is just plain crazy , and this is not about Castillo , like I said Duran struggled at times himself like with Mamby , we can go back and forward with this stuff all night
