Not sure on this one, but i would say...around 35-40
simply because of what he did in his prime and for boxing

He did enough in his glory years to be in the back half of the HW top 10, but all time period he fell way short of his potential.

Maybe top 50 pound for pound.

            Not a top 10 heavyweight.

I won't argue too much if someone has him in the top 10, or just outside it, all-time at HW.

I just cant fully certify him in the upper tier, guys like Lennox Lewis and Holyfield and Ali all got huge wins while Tysons biggest wins were wins over guys like Michael Spinks and a bloated Larry Holmes, I think he would beat anyone in his prime, but loses to Lennox Lewis, 2 clean loses to Evander Holyfield coupled with wins over Bruce Seldon, Peter McNeely,
Lou Saverese isnt really screaming top ten to me. He beat good opponents but not all star quality opponents.

He may only be top 50-100 but his name is one of the most recogniseable of the 20th century for a sports person. In addition, in his prime there would be hardly anyone in the heavyweight division of the last 40 years I would pick to beat him.
