Tyson is the Goat, he had Sonny Listons power, Joe Louis's chin, Ali's speed, Holmes's instinct and Dempseys lawless-ness and the brain of a $2dollar whore... When Mike was doing what he did he was the best we'd ever saw.. But prison changes a man, the loss to Douglas not so much, because Tyson most likely would have been the favorite in a rematch as well... Mike in my opinion is a top 10 ATG because he got it done and had any other HW meet him in his prime they may have beat him but chances are he would've KOed there ass like Glass Jaw Freddy Loss!

hes is in the top 30 of all time. Simply because he had an aura about him. There is an interview on youtube of muhammad ali and mike tyson (i think its the michael parkinson show). It was in 1989 and a really must watch interview. Parkinson says to tyson " could you beat ali" and tyson says no and then ali butts in and says "tyson would beat him". Its really funny because ali seems to be intimidated by tyson for no reason.

Anyway i would rank tyson as an atg in the top 30 because i believe in his prime (before he went to jail) that he would give any HW the fight of there life.

Depends how u rank fighters if u base it on record, oppistion, longevity ect (which is the fairest way) Tyson dont crack the top 10, 15 but if i pit all the great fighters against one another in my head then Tyson spanks nearly everyone! But i see why people wouldnt rate him due to what i said earlier

I agree w/ Bert Sugar on this one.... if I had to make a list of the 100 greatest fighters I might drop Tyson in at #100.

At the end of his career it still took Marciano 8 rounds to finish off an old Louis while it took 6 for Kevin ****ing McBride.

Tysons Heart was broke, not a proper KO. Tyson had a solid chin look how long it took for LL to KO him, he was landing some sickners!
Louis i love em even named my kid after em but his chin didnt match the rest of his skills he got dropped to often, his heart is another matter

I'm not saying Tyson's chin was poor; far from it, as I generally consider it to be underrated. However, heart and chin fall into the same category as you can't have one w/o the other.

Id still say Tyson tho coz on his day he had heart too. I just think Louis would go over a bit easier than Mike
