Just look at the current top ten in the WW division. He has fought three of them and scheduled to fight another.

Cintron was undefeated, prime and ranked when MARG fought him.

Clottey has ONE DQ loss (basically undefeated on the scorecards )prime, ranked when Marg fought him

PW, prime ranked and undefeated when MARG fought him....

Cotto, prime ranked and undfeated and is fighting him this summer.

Marg persued Floyd who was PRIME, RANKED and undefeated and ranked P4P the best in the world.

How can you call yourself a boxing fan and not have respect for this guy?

this is a question i ask myself every single day. this man is a fans fighter. he always tries to fight the best. he never backs down from a real challenge. he is always looking to give the fans a knockout. he was even willing to take very little money to make a fight with floyd mayweather. this man is a real fighter and a true warrior and every single boxing fan should support him.

Regardless of that Williams has subsequently lost, and you know all this bull**** about the very best fighters running from Tony is becoming tiresome. Williams isn't in the same bracket as a Cotto or Mayweather, in fact he's very limited as we saw in his last outing, and Tony couldn't get that W. To be considered a legit challenger for the top dogs you gotta come through those preliminary fights with the no. 3, 4, 5, 6 in the division. If you cant you got no right bragging that you're being ducked.

Cotto is gonna silence this propaganda once and for all.

I have followed Margarito for years. I have always taken to guys who are willing to get in the ring with anyone. Look how quick he penned his name to a Cotto fight!! He is a true warrior.

So many in here worry about losses. Warriors fight the best available and keep fighting on, they take their losses along the way.

Guys like Gatti, Holyfield, Margarito, Miranda, Pavlik, Hatton, Lewis, Cotto, ODLH etc.. are a special breed of fighter. They are throwbacks to what boxing once was.
