No surprise there, he got 50 odd thousand fans going to his fight. I can't wait to see the hitman back in action. It's gonna be great.

People would be foolish to assume that Lazcano is a soft touch. He is a tough guy who isn't laying down for anyone. Hatton is lucky he is catching him on the downside of Lazcano's career.

unlike De La Hoya at least Hatton is fighting someone who COULD beat him, that fight with Forbes was so boring. De La Hoya went soft and fought someone who turned up not to fight but just NOT to be knocked out, that whole fight was silly. I really hope Hatton doesn't fall into the same trap.

            Hatton Is A Legend!

Hatton will demolish Lazcano, then he will rip Malignaggi to pieces, then he will KO Bradley, then he will Destroy Kotelnik and Torres... then Witter will call him out again, and Hatton will laugh in his face... Then Hatton will fight Mayweather in Wembley in front of 100,000 fans... there will be a British referee who doesn't ruin the fight, and Hatton will Break Mayweathers ribs (like Castillo), but Mayweather will show good heart and continue, then Hatton will bust up his face, then he will break his heart and KO PrettyBoyFloyd... in Round 1... Haha

            Hatton is a Legend!!!

              Chase,

I'm going to have to ask you to refer to the lack of clean punches by Hatton in the first six rounds. I have watched the fight several times, and Ricky really landed nothing meaningful. To the body or head.

How was Hatton "right in there" if he was miles from his gameplan? The fight didn't look crazy dominant in the first few rounds...but mayweather fights seldom do. Except Gatti.

FM's tactic is to take his time, and take over mid-fight. See Judah, Corrales, Delahoya, etc...

Two years since Lazcano's last win? Way downside.

I'm pumped for this one. I can't wait to see Ricky back in action and I think the fight will be highly entertaining for as long as it lasts.

Plus it will be interesting to see how Ricky adapts coming back from the KO, what he does better, if he does anything worse, etc...

There is nothing in boxing quite like a Ricky Hatton fight, the atmosphere is off the chart and I'd pay to watch him fight damn near anybody. It's that good.

I just hope Ricky is the same after what happened in December. But from what I've heard, he's stayed in excellent shape, without the weight gains he's had in the past.

I can hardly wait for this fight...
