and Quintana is a great fighter as well, its just a shame he had to cross paths with Cotto. Quintana can beat all the other welterweights except Cotto and Mayweather in my opinion. Yes i think he could beat Mosley.

        Miguel Cotto

        Ivan Calderon

        Daniel Santos

Those are the three best, most accomplished Puerto Rican fighters I can think of. Santos has put in just as much work as Cotto and Calderon, he just isn't as good as them. His opposition has been really good though.

        Jantuah
        Rivera
Dinzruk (however the **** you spell it)
        Margarito
        Zuniga

He beat a shopworn Yory Boy too.

Actually if you read the question, Calderon is the LEAST likely to lose because we all know that Cotto WILL or has a GREAT CHANCE of losing to FLoyd. There is no one that can really hang with Calderon.

Calderon has almost lost a couple times. Hes lucky he made it out of the Barrera fight alive and even more lucky he got the nod in the decision. And that was against pretty much a bum fighter. How many of his fights have you seen? Hes really struggled a couple of times.

The funny thing about this is that Calderon actually beat Cotto in the amateurs.

Anyway, my vote remains. John Ruiz nicks Cotto for least likeliest to lose. He's probably a future HOF'er. I literally see him GRABBING the linear HW title in a few years.

Yes, I know Cotto was like ten but he still lost to Calderon.

                    That honestly means nothing.....at all.

Calderon is about 6 years older than Cotto. Cotto weighed about 105. Cotto was a little kid against a more experienced fighter 6 years his senior.

Cotto went on to what is now considered to be one the best amateurs ever from Puerto Rico.

I dont know maybe Im wrong but it could have been someone else, but Im pretty sure it was him. But Im not 100% but if it was, he had really good boxing ability and decent pop in his punches. I thought the dude could hang with Pacman because Pac comes straight at you. Now hang with Marquez is a different story. Maybe it was against a couple of bums. My bad if I'm wrong.
