For me its definately the N'dou fight...check it out:

That was one of the best boxing performances ive seen, man,Floyd at 140 was a BEAST,he was an agressive slick boxer/puncher

N'Dou,Corrales,Gatti and Hatton where Floyds best performance, its like he toyed with them,he knew what he was doing,i felt in the Hatton fight he could take time of when he wanted to,and put pressure on when he wanted to,at points he bullied him,the Corrales fight was a masterclass

If you're combining his performance with the caliber of his opponent, I'd say Castillo or Chico were his best wins. For best performance period, the Gatti fight was an absolutely flawless ass whoopin.

N'dou was his last fight at 135, not 140.

            I feel sorry for N'dou.

He could have been a very good fighter.

              Incorrect.

              Castillo, Castillo, Sosa, N'dou.

The Corrales fight is the frontrunner, in my mind.

I actually agree with this. He didn't look too bad (other than his complete lack of defense against Mayweather.

He got KO'd by a journeyman when he was ahead on points (happens to plenty of good fighters).

He lost to Mayweather (happens to plenty of good fighters).

And then lost to Isaac Hlats..... whatever his last name is. He was undefeated at the time, and holds a win over Nate Campbell.

Anyway, if he hadn't had brain damage from those fights, I think he could have gone on to be at least a contender for other lightweights later.

I agree. At worst, he would have been an excellent gatekeeper for the division.
