I think he will drop Cotto atleast Once in that fight. I also think it will either be a quick left hook counter or an uppercut. His uppercuts are underrated.

gatti was his most impressive win, because of how he performed in it. gatti held the wbc jr.ww title and floyd absolutely did things in that fight that were breath taking. i mean from his hard jab in the 2nd round to his vicious combo in the 6th round, floyd landed dan near 80% of his punches thrown, and maybe even higher than that. the most impressive punches he threw imo that whole fight was three left hooks in the 6th round after the combo form hell, which was one of the greatest combos i have ever seen, and not just flurry combos, but i mean, legit combinations from head to body back to head, just flawlessly thrown by mayweather.

the gatti fight put him on the ppv map.

I can't believe anyone mentioned anything other than Corrales.

He landed more punches than Corrales threw. Other than like 1st round KOs, I can't imagine that has ever happened before.

Also, Corrales was 33-0, never been down, KO machine who was ranked P4P #5 by the ring.

Corrales has a valid argument to be the best fighter on Floyd's resume, but Corrales should be unrivaled for Floyd's best performance.

wow. well i think his best performace was him hitting the pads with his uncle doing that little speed drill thingy.

Cotto will obviously give Floyd a better fight than Gatti, Hatton and Corrales IMO. It will be 117-111 type of decision for May.

Gatti gained his fame from the MIckey Ward trilogy.
Seems like people forgot Gatti threw in the towel against Angel Manfredy and DLH. Now DLH I can understand, but factor in two losses to Ivan Robinson and the outcome was pretty clear.

I just thought Mayweather was so much better than Manfredy and Robinson so I couldn't see how Gatti stood much of a chance.

Cotto is light years better than Gatti ever was so there shouldn't be a comparison.

But Cotto has to get through Margarito first, and that's no easy task.

              I agree.

Also what he did to the Big Show. I mean he was out weight by 300 pounds, it was his very first Wrasslin match and he looked like a true champion.

Mine was the DLH fight. It was DLH's gloves , ring size, weight, everything. He went out the as the smaller guy and EARNED the SD. He did take some early heat, thats why i think it was his best. It was evenly matched and Floyd won.

Lol at the Big Show comment.

While he looked good in the rematch against Castillo, he still got hit a lot, and lost a lot of rounds. He did some things wrong in that fight.

I really can't think of more than one or two times in the Corrales fight where Floyd did something wrong. A lot of that was Corrales's unwillingness to throw, but still... Wow.

The Carlos Baldomir fight was a masterclass of boxing.

                      Loved every minute of it!
