I guess it's down to the judges, those ****ing las vegas judges are infamous for their decisions...
I'll tell you what, have a normal boxing fan that never seen the fight before, that never heard about the controversy regarding this fight, and let me know who he/she thinks won the fight.
I can guarantee you they won't have it for the running chicken Mayweather...
    So by your standard...

Baldomir deserved the W over Floyd? He was the one trying ot make the fight after all. The aggression has to be effective, and while it was for Castillo, it wasn't effective in every round, hence, why I can understand why people scored it for Mayweather. Castillo would have a much better argument for claiming robbery if he hadn't given so many of the early rounds away.

and somehow it worked, think he won by 4-5 pts.

Seriously people are so desperate to see him lose.....they keep bringing this **** back up.

It was a close fight. Floyd knew it and that's why he immediately rematched him and beat him again.

Three things for sure about this fight:

          1. Mayweather had a very bad performance, but not the worst performance of the night.
          2. The worst performance of the night goes to VIC DRAKULICH! He took unnecessary points, didn't take points for other things... he just looked overwhelmed.
          3. This was Mayweather's most exciting fight IMO (if you add in the competitiveness level to the equation... obviously he beat Gatti and N'dou up pretty excitingly, but it wasn't a competitive fight in either case).

You're not having a discussion. You're trying to force your biased opinion down our throats. Anybody who doesn't think that this fight could have gone either way......you think is a nuthugger.

I gave the fight to Floyd by a point. Does that mean I'm spot on? No, it means if one round went the other way, Castillo would have won by a point. It was a close fight.

              No, you're just misinterpreting me.
Baldomir didn't do ****, he didn't hurt Mayweather and his come forward aggressive style was useless. You have to remember that Baldomir has virtually no defense and no head movement at all.
Castillo's arsenal is on another level, he weaves, he has good head movement and underrated defense.

I just watched the fight and here is how I scored it:

                Round 1 - Floyd 10-9
                Round 2 - Floyd 10-9
                Round 3 - Floyd 10-9
                Round 4 - Castillo 9-10
                Round 5 - Floyd 10-9
                Round 6 - Castillo 9-10
                Round 7 - Castillo 9-10
Round 8 - Floyd 10-8 - Ref took away point from Castillo and Floyd was winning the Round.

                Round 9 - Floyd 10-9
Round 10 - 9-9 - Ref took away point from Floyd and it was his best round of the fight.
Round 11 - Castillo 9-10 - Floyd stood right in front of him and they traded body shots. Castillo got the better of it.

Round 12 - Castillo 9-10 Castillo's most active round. He threw alot of combinations. His best round.

                TOTAL = 114-112

                6 rounds to 5 and 1 even.

                Winner - Floyd Mayweather
I'd give round 5 to Castillo and Floyd round 4, but other then that I agree. I've watched this fight countless times and I can see it for either guy or a draw

That's fair enough. I think the thread creator needs to stop watching highlights of this fight where they only show the good stuff that Castillo did and actually watch the entire fight round by round.

Looks like the highlights from Espn's The Contender.

As you always say, it is a fight that needs to be watched very closely.
