I just find it funny that Floyd fans, who some of which are coincedently Hopkins fans spew how Joe lost against Hopkins, but they don't like to entertain how close and subjective this Castillo fight was.

Major credit to Jose for de-constructing the enigma , regardless of what the result should have been.

but it is was not a robbery

this isnt whitaker vs chavez or santa cruz vs casamayor
I'd call it a robbery, Floyd just didn't do enough.
I watches the fight live with a couple of my friends and they were all screaming "robbery!"...
Since when do you get rewarded for running the whole fight and not landing 1 meaningful shot?
Mayweather didn't even tickle Castillo that fight.

It takes a nuthugger to have Floyd winning though
If I wanted to be a nuthugger, I could have gave that fight to Floyd by 3 or 4 points.

        I didn't, that's how I scored it.

All that card shows is that it could have went either way and those dip****s who keeps saying that he clearly lost are full of it.

          ^^^^^

The odd thing is, I don't think that pressure is the formula to beat Mayweather anymore.

Honestly, that fight didn't look like Mayweather. He looked like he didn't know what the hell he was supposed to be doing in that. The amount of time that he layed on the ropes in that fight was astounding.

What's interesting about this fight, is that castillo was the champ, i did not see Floyd beating him on points. It was not a robery, but it was a close fight that a draw would have been just. A draw would have kept castillo as champ and who knows what he woould have done with other fighters or how his strategy would have been in the rematch. It was close, but my biggest problem was that according to the judges, Floyd dominated the fight by like 4-5 pts.

The HBO crew said that press row scorers were nearly evenly split on who won the first fight. That was during the second Castillo fight.

Do you think they fabricated that statement? Why would they? It went against the way they scored the first fight.

I don't understand how you score fight...
Do you give the fighter throwing less and landing **** more points?
Do you give the fighter running the whole night more points?

Castillo made it a fight, if it wasn't for Castillo that **** would've been a snooze-fest. Castillo pressed Mayweather and rocked him several times.
Mayweather didn't wanna be there and he was relieved to hear the bell.

Mayweather was just so inactive and his punches looked very ineffective...
