Arguably Joe Louis and that's it. I think Ali would beat him though.

i think only louis could be considered better.i think louis was a more tempered and a better verion of frazier, with all the punches not just a left hook.i have them tied for number one, with lewis 3,johnson 4,marciano 5.

By better do you mean skillwise, resume?

            Skillwise

And besides, I don't think anybody could beat Ali in his prime...

I think Lennox Lewis would have given Ali a lot of trouble.

Some may feel sentimental and say Marciano, but if you compare Ali and Marciano's level of opposition, there isn't much comparison. Ali fought great champions when he was young and young champions when he was old. Can't beat that.

You could say Joe Louis since he had 25 title defenses, but his reign had it's down moments towards the end with the Walcott travesty and a long stretch where he fought guys like Buddy Baer. The problem was that Louis didn't have many young guns to prove himself against since the division he fought in was weak.

Still, Louis blew most of the guys he fought away and avenged several bad performances and defeats that most figured he couldn't.

no way tunney, ali was a more well rounded fighter than jonhson,he would have beaten all of those.i don't know why you call yourself tunney when its obvious ali took some of tunney's game and implemented it to his own.ali 1964 beats all the primes amd he beats those at the top.
