Come on now, you know Pavlik would stop Abraham.
He stops Mundine aswell.. I can't see Mundine make much of an impact in the Middleweight Division. I will admit that I was wrong, if he does though.

It would be a WAR, an awsome fight, and Calzaghe wears guys down in those types of fights, but with a puncher like Pavlik, it should be dead even. I dont see a KO thouhg. Calzaghe's chin is world class but he cant punch that good
Calzaghe makes Pavlik look easy, stopping him in the process. Quit kidding yourself.

Pavlik moves forward and throws a one two.

      That's it, all fight.

Joe loves people coming forward, he will tear Pavlik up on the inside as he steps in.

Pavlik has never gone backwards. Joe will make him fight on the backfoot and outmuscle him into the ropes and throw blistering combos that will make Pavlik look like he fell out of a plane and landed on his face.

Pavlik (or his corner) realises anywhere before the 10th that Pavlik is just not in the same class (We are talking Mayweather Gatti in terms of gulf of skill) and he will be pulled out.

Calzaghe gets another impressive name on his resume, and Pavlik mysteriously becomes a bum overnight.

      Funny how it works.

Its kinda hard to speculate on a Pamlik vs Calzhaghe match not having seen Kelly in with a south paw but I dont see Abraham doing much except eating a lot of leather at the end of a pavlik jab.

          Pavlik will batter him...

Pavlik wins by KO within 4 rounds in my opinon.

This matchup isnt even fair for lockett. pavlik is superior in just about every category measurable.

Lockett is not a bad fighter tbh ... i dont think he willl beat Pavlik but he does throw bombs and it wont be the cakewalk people seem to think.

The true main event on that card will be Juanma Lopez vs Ponce De Leon! Man, I'm pumped up already!

I was seriously about to reply to this when I realized it's just another 'zaghe nut-hugger.

                  ...Calzaghe KOing someone. Lulz.

Why not? Pavlik is in another stratosphere that Lockett. He is just lucky some states have a mercy stoppage in place for ref's to use if a fighter is being battered too much. And, for the loser whoe said that calzaghe will KO Pavlik is flat out Crazy. If Jermain Taylors best and hardest punches could not stop the Ghost, what makes you think Calzaghe can? I am a super Joe fan, but I would say that this is a good fight. Pavlik does'nt run and Calzaghe does'nt either. They both throw alot of punches and have their own styles. This is the fight to make sooner or later. If Joe is smart though, he will stay away from this fight. BTW, Jones is a bad fight for Joe too at this point. He should have fought Jones when Glenn Johnson did, to capitalize on Roy's low confidence. Now Jones is sure of himself again and I feel like he will probably be too fast fisted for Joe. Joe doesnt have enough pop on his punches to scare Roy to go all defensive either. I think Tito hit Roy alot harder that Joe has the ability to and that will be his undoing in this one.
