Is Lennox Lewis a Canadian or British Boxer?

Yeah, he was born in the UK but he learned to fight in Canada and represented them in the Olympics for that reason. He only started to embrace his British roots when he became a pro to increase his fanbase...

The correct word is British, not English.

Lewis was a British fighter of Jamaican heritage.

He was born in Britian but later on in his boxing career moved to Canada. He also has a home here and represented Canada in the olympics. Truly one of the greatest HW and my favourite HW of all time. Ruled the boxing era of his time

He only became a great fighter because he left England...

You know Antonio Margarito was born in the US, but learned to fight in Mexico. I don't hear anyone claiming he's an American fighter...

Andre Berto represented Haiti in the Olympics. Everyone considers him an American fighter. Lewis was a Brit.

Being Canadian, I still voted British. But Canada had a significant part in molding him into the fighter he was.
