He was British first, then he was Canadian, then it was back to British, after he retired he was Jamaican, and now he's American.

Both of Lewis' parents are Jamaican, born in Jamaica. He had Canadian citizenship and represented them in the Olympics. He's certainly not English as none of his parents are. His British citizenship is worth the same as his Canadian one.
