Sam Peter vs. Andrew Golota Talks For July

As part of the agreement for an October bout between WBC heavyweight champion Sam Peter and mandatory challenger Vitali Klitschko, Peter is allowed to make a voluntary defense in July. Peter wants the tuneup to get in some work before the long awaited bout with Klitschko. [details]

I was hoping Povetkin would get Golota, but Peter vs. Golota will be fun to watch!

Golota could very well upset Peter in this fight. He's been active and showed alot of grit in his last fight after fighting thru a completely swollen eye...

              Punch High Golota, punch high.

(or wait, he's Polish: Punch LOW Golota, Punch LOW!)

Might be entertaining for a few rounds, till one of them gets disqualified or knocked out.

Just what we need. Peter to hurt his hand on Golota's head and have to delay the fight with Vitali even longer. Great! Or, by some miracle Golota wins and then Vitali has to KO that stinker. There is nothing good that can come from this other than fattening Kings pockets. I however cannot blame Peter for wanting to stay active. He may not be the brightest light on the tree, but at least he has the desire to be a fighting champion. Unlike so manny in the past. He deserves to be champion until Vitali KO's him within 10 rounds. Just my opinion.
