Nah man Hatton has avoided Witter out right for years..
Witter is the Wbc Champ the most respected belt in Boxing and Hatton
is like the Ibo champ lol

Witter is a poor mans Floyd mayweather but is a very effective fighter
    underrated as well...

It's not "Ricky", per se.... It is "the guy wearing the "crown". Who happens to live up the street. Junior is convinced that he can beat that guy.

      What's wrong with that?

Ricky Hatton/Billy Graham have said that they had their eye on mayweather for years and they considered that the defining fight of hatton's career. Nothing wrong with that. There's always a guy who is more highly regarded or who the public thinks (or YOU think) that you have to beat to put that stamp on your career.

Ok. We have to be honest here.

Hatton is fighting a guy who was beaten by the last guy Witter KO'd. Not to get triangular, but I'm using the same logic YOU just used on harris/maussa.

If Harris is C+, how does Lazcano suddenly become some worthy opponent? Help me out. Lazcano hasn't fought in a year and a half...and he lost his last fight.

        "top ten ranked"?

An example of the difference is the Cotto vs. Mayweather situation.

Mayweather refuses to fight Cotto and Mosley, so instead of crying about it, they fight each other.

Now "Chicken" Floyd is still refusing to fight Cotto and Margarito, so instead of crying about it, they are fighting each other.

Witter should have moved on long ago. With a few good wins, and perhaps another title, Hatton would be wanting to fight him.

The fact is that fighting Mayweather, Castillo, and Tszyu made Ricky more money than fighting Witter would have. But if Witter defeated a couple of top opponents, a Hatton vs. Witter fight would be more lucrative.

Hatton needs to fight someone like Laczano right now. His last fight was a KO loss (to the p4p #1 in the world, according to the Ring) so he needs a confidence-building warm-up fight.

Now, if he fought another oponent like that in his next fight, it would be fair to criticize him.

I just bet £5 on Bradley to win on points. At 13-1, I was too tempted considering Bradley is unbeaten.

Witter should win, but Bradley looks very tidy and quick. Witter probably stops Bradley somewhere near round 9.

Wait a minute - Maussa KOed Witter's last opponent, Vivian Harris.

And Urango is a tough cookie with a great future!

I'm hoping you make some money!

Bradley has world-class speed, but I wish he had a bit more power.

Harris beat the guy Hatton is fighting next...Harris got KTFO by witter....seriously hatton fanboys make the most pathetic/lame excuses to defend their fighter when deep down even they know in their hearts about whats right or wrong.

i know for sure u guys will be excited as hell if witter loses tommorow, which still wont excuse the fact that hatton ducked him. i just hope witter wins and keep making hatton and his fanboys bad, its been 7 years mr ricky hatton in these 7 years the only "lucrative" fights were against kosta, castillo and mayweather who he lost too but still chose to fight witter despite losing his fight in which he got KTFO. between these 7 years he fought about 15-20 guys who werent "more lucrative" than a fight with junior witter. im sure the limeys know him better than lazcano...hatton fanboys = pathetic ****s who make lame excuses to defend hatton
