Agreed. He had decent skills, a good chin and was tough. But KO Ali??? Please. Maybe when he was washed up.....

IN YOUR SAD, LONELY, PATHETIC DREAMS.
I think Wladimir could've beat Joe Louis. He was much smaller and slower. People have advanced physically since Louis' time.

to come close to beating someone like Ali..
He couldnt knock a past it chinny Giant in Lewis..

I still dont think we've seen a fighter who would have beaten a prime Ali but maybe the faded 70s version. Ali's chin was terrific, he took the full blooded blows of Foreman, Shavers and Liston.

I think he'd take Vitali's too and outwork him over 12 rounds.

I think that unlike alot of fighters from earlier eras Ali would still do well today, 82 inch reach!! fair height 6,3 and speed of hand and foot.

Also you cant argue with his experience.....120+ amateur fights and 60+ pro fights complete with Olympic gold and three title reigns within 15 years!

Any knowledgeable boxing fan would know it's not true.

Ali actually had a longer reach than Vitali, he fought 6'6 Ernie Terrell & Sonny Liston who had a 84 inch reach and looked great against both.

You, Sir, are a moron. Simply because someone is from a different era doesn't mean he's somehow "inferior". Now I understand you dropped out of school in the sixth grade and lack the cognitive skills to make an informed judgement about anything, least of all boxing. However you CAN spare us from such displays of your insimpent ignorance by ceasing to post on this forum and leave the thinking to your superiors who are clearly better at it than you are. By the way, ******ity such as yours CAN be cured if you ingest large amounts of cyanide, which will improve the gene pool by removing yourself from it.....permanently.

That is true, Wlad and Vitali COULD beat every heavyweight Bar Lewis and Foreman i believe purely on size. it doesn't make them better champions or fighters and they can be beaten themselves, they arent invincible.

They would give all the heavies a tough battle though that is pretty much guaranteed but to say the Vitali WOULD have KO'd Ali is ludicrous, he MIGHT have done I'd favour Ali personally but you can never say one fighter will for sure beat another. Did anyone think Douglas would beat Tyson, Schmeling to beat Louis, Mayorga to beat Forrest. etcc you never can predict and exact outcome with two TOP level heavyweights
