He Hasnt Signed Because He Can Not Fight Going Backwards Which Is Just What Margs Will Make Him Do. When He Backed Up Against Shane He Was Losing, When He Backed Up Against Torres He Was Losing. Cotto Has To Come Forward To Even Have A Chance. But Margs Will And Overall Stregnth Will Force Cotto Backward Where Cotto Will Succumb To The Pressure Ala Jermaine Taylor V Kelly Pavlik.

I agree that Cotto can't fight going backwards, I just don't see Margarito making Cotto go backwards. Margarito has a huge height and reach advantage, but he's too slow to capitalize on that advantage, Cotto will easily dodge Margarito's punches and will counter him the entire fight until he knocks him out within the 6th round. The knockout is guaranteed because Margarito can't fight going backwards either.

Isnt the fight schedule for July? Arent we in May already? Its normal for people to get anxious over a big fight like this one especially after the mosley/Judah saga.

yeah but he will just put a jab out there to measure Miguel. Miguel will TRY to box, but will end up fighting the way he know how to, slugging it out. That will be his downfall. Look at Jermain, he was faster, better footwork, and Kelly was slow and plotting. And Kelly still came out on top. Its not about all the physicality and power, it about smarts, Marg's has been through everything from a boxer to a slugger, to the biggest wins, and the biggest losses. He figures Cotto out, and Cotto goes out like JT but in the 10th.

Yea July 26 what is today May 8.If they say by next week for sure that gives them 8 to 10 weeks to train. It will be fine cause they are still around there weight since they just fought 1 month ago. And i understand people get anxious but what annoys me is the ****** things they are willing to say when they themselves dont know whats going on behind the scenes.

OK, I give you credit for that but when one fighter agrees to the terms and signs the contract almost immediately after the fight has been announced while the other still hasn't agreed to the terms and it's been reported the gloves and money is the issue why he hasn't signed, it doesn't look good for that fighter won't you agree? specially coming from a man who says he will fight whoever his company puts in front of him. Please be realistic.
