he shouldn't have moved up! at lightweight their were few in history who could topple him but even with his weight lifting he was grossly overpowered at welter. he looked tiny next to winky wright!aside from his granite chin sugar shane isnt really that good of a fighter
i commend him for his heart which gets him the win in most of his
fights but his so called hand speed isnt that evident to me.... well i know
he has hand and foot speed but he doesnt use it properly.
he doesnt jab
he doesnt box
and he doesnt throw crisp accurate shots this guy punches with his
eyes close (i thought judah was BS'ing but hes not).
I mean sugar shane has power but his string of Tko's kinda stopped
at lightweight where he was a knockout machine.
I hope judah beats sugar shane but I expect sugar shane to win a ud
because his stamina is unbelievable.
but that being said sugar is just too vulnerable to get hit by judahComment

There is no way I would argue with this. After the Cotto fight this sort of sentiment is fully founded and well deserved. He's better than he showed, but who gives a ****? We're only as good as our last performance.aside from his granite chin sugar shane isnt really that good of a fighter

at the moment mosley is past his prime and a mere shadow of himself when at his peak...he was a very good fighter at his peak (especially by decisioning de la hoya twice and vargas twice...)aside from his granite chin sugar shane isnt really that good of a fighter

i have to ask; (especially considering your username) are you a big judah fan?
no offense; you just make it sound like sugar shane is the most overrated fighter in the sport.Comment

Some of you guys should watch some of Mosley's older fights before saying some of the things that has been said in this thread.
He was brilliant to watch. He had very good footwork, head movement, feinting, speed, power, combinations.
He's obviously not in his prime anymore but he managed to give Cotto one of if not the toughest fight of his career so far.Comment

He is a 3 division world champion, one of the fastest fighters of our generation and the most impressive lightweight to watch. He was the only person to fully concur Oscar De La Hoya and was unbeaten at lightweight. The only reason why he moved up was the get the bigger paydays. He could fight going backward, throw volume punches of combinations that were lightning fast, great chin, heart, work ethic and ability. He was also pound for pound the best fighter at the time Vernon Forrest upset him back in 2002.Comment
