His prime ended when he got knocked down by Vernon Forrest.
That marked the end of his prime.

This thread is akin to saying "That Holyfield dude sucks, I saw him against that Barney guy and he didn't look good at all."

I think that worked with lighter weight fighters because he had so much

more power than they did. And he beat oscar becuase oscar doesnt know

the word backup (unless your name is trinidad) and hes much quicker than

          oscar.

But really does he have a fighting style????????????????????
does he have a fighting style? are you serious?

What im trying to say is sugar shane doesnt really have science behind

his boxing like mayweather, de la hoya, hopkins etc....

And by the way who did sugar shane beat

            besides

            Oscar (gotta give him credit)

            or

            Fernando Vargas (overrated)

He is very similar to Oscar in almost everyway. I guess Oscar had a more lucky career but their fights were amazing and the second one could have gone either way with a slight advantage to Oscar. That's being said you are being ignorant when you judge a fighter's career by it's final months.

I don't know. He may be "past prime" but he gave Cotto a better fight than did the four other champions on Cotto's resume, all of who are much younger.

Winky and Forrest were bigger than him.

                    Nowadays, he fights kinda afraid.
                    Similar to Bernard Hopkins
not true at all or please explain,

He was basically praised by everyone for schooling Collazo
stood toe to toe with the exception of a round or two against Cotto

In all honesty I don't thinks he's much of a boxer
                      he has speed
one the best chin's in the business
power and a lot of heart
That's what's been carrying him over... not his boxing skills
