if he went into the calzaghe fight unprepared that's his own problem. maybe he was too confident for his own good but there was never any talk of him not training....you are making it up now. he beat tsypko with a torn rotator cuff. for manfredo fight his shoulder was healed and healthy and he still struggled in a boring fight.

they were questionable wins. many felt the fight with tsypko could have been a draw they fought a pretty even fight. in the manfredo bout except for the flash knock down lacy didnt do anything special. i dont remember how the fight was scored (because i was falling asleep) but manfredo was outboxing jeff a little. it wasnt a convincing victory. and he was healthy. you just making excuses and i dont like that. he had almost a year to recover, and he said himself that his shoulder was completely healed. if anything he was rusty, his shoulder was fine.

No I wont....most fighters get pwned once in there career and end up bouncing back later on....as a Calzaghe fan boy you want to think he is done because of Joe but i say no not even close...People were so shocked after Lacy lost to Calzaghe but that was before most of us realized how good Joe really is.
