No not EVEN CLOSE he has lost only 1 FIGHT. Yes he did get pwned by Calzaghe but it was in Wales and Lacy went into that fight completly over confident and unprepared. Since then he has beat Tsypko and Manfredo who suck but beat them with a blown out shoulder. He is fully healthy now and I expect him to ko Spina in 2 weeks on the Mosley card. He is still young and will be a force again.
i think he's done. but he was also hyped up from the start, like the second coming of tyson at 168 pounds and all that. he was a good fighter but nothing great or special. his last performances were really off in terms of excitement and savagery. even fights after calzaghe, tsypko and manfredo werent really convincing. he's not a young guy anymore and i doubt he'll be a champ again except maybe capping himself a piece of low rent title like WBO or something like that. but i doubt even that would happen. Lacy is done. In a way I feel bad for the fact that he took such a brutal beating from Calzaghe -- mentally and physically -- but on the other hand he got what was coming to him. "If you look at his fights, you wouldn't call him a slapper?"...

if he went into the calzaghe fight unprepared that's his own problem. maybe he was too confident for his own good but there was never any talk of him not training....you are making it up now. he beat tsypko with a torn rotator cuff. for manfredo fight his shoulder was healed and healthy and he still struggled in a boring fight.
30 years is not young for a puncher who already shows decline. fighters like lacy get paid for excitement not their boxing skills.
